I had one of the earlier
Dazzle
products and liked it well enough except for the crummy videowave
software that came with it. I orginally got it to convert
tapes to
dvd. Didn't work well for that but did use it for some other
production stuff.
The company has since ditched that
software and now uses Instant DVD Recorder by Pinnacle
software. Great decision there!
I
bought a new Dazzle with the new Instant DVD Recorder software and
haven't looked back. It's the perfect solution to turn VHS
videos into
DVD videos.
Many of our older VHS
vids just aren't
playing so
well anymore. Glad I got my butt in gear and got the new
Dazzle. On
a couple tapes I actually had to switch out VCRs
just to get the VHS
to track right so I could get a good copy...looks like I've started
converting my tapes just in time. My wife was especially
happy I was
able to convert our wedding video to DVD.
| | It's dead
easy but
some people have put up YouTube vids on how to use/setup the
Dazzle. Easy enough to Google for those but doubt anyone would need too.
Hooking
up is simple: connect the VCR to the Dazzle with regular video (RCA)
cable/plugs
then the Dazzle connects to any of your computer's usb holes.
The
software installs quick and easy then you're ready to start converting
your VHS to DVD.
Oh, and you can even automatically add a
menu system
to your newly created DVD - what a deal.
Only 1
minor issue - the weird tear-drop shape??? What's that about? Other
than that no complaints.
P.S.
Don't let the lame company ad dissuade you. i.e.
"video capture
archiving" huh? oh, you mean I can take my VHS tapes and turn them into
DVDs...Got It! |
